Your first plane trip is coming up soon, and you still don't know how to pack for it? First of all, you need to be aware of the current baggage size restrictions of your chosen airline. What else should you keep in mind?
HOW TO PACK FOR A TRIP STEP BY STEP?
1. Pack your documents and put them in a safe and visible place
If the only thing you need to do before you leave is pack the most necessary clothes, accessories, and cosmetics, you can breathe a sigh of relief. It's best to start preparing for a trip abroad with the most important things: packing a set of necessary documents, visas, credit cards, and accessories for electronic devices.
Not sure what to pack your credit cards, visas, and other documents in? The solution is a three-compartment velvet travel organizer, where you can easily and safely store items such as your wallet, phone, and jewelry, as well as your phone, charger, headphones, and a small camera lens.
2. Check the airline's baggage requirements
The second step in preparing for a trip abroad is to check the suitcase size restrictions imposed by the airline.
If you are planning to fly with Ryanair, be aware that the dimensions of your carry-on baggage cannot exceed those of a small bag measuring 40 x 20 x 25 cm and a carry-on bag measuring 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
The weight of the small bag is irrelevant, but it must fit under the seat in front of you. Otherwise, there is an additional cost of PLN 120. To be better organized after departure, we recommend taking an extra bag with you. A cotton, foldable navy blue bag with a button closure is the perfect choice.
Hand luggage has a maximum weight of 10 kg and is subject to a fee of PLN 29, depending on the priority boarding service purchased.
3. Remember to choose the right suitcase
When choosing a suitcase, pay attention to the quality of its construction, the type of wheels, dimensions, zipper, and the type of material it is made of. The most popular suitcases are made of ABS or polycarbonate.
Lightweight travel suitcases are usually made of fabric with stiffening. Their price is lower, but the fabric in such a suitcase gets dirty much faster and is more difficult to keep clean. Polycarbonate suitcases are an investment for years, but much more expensive.
When you are planning a short or long trip and wondering what to keep your underwear in, a cotton checkered laundry bag will help you organize your underwear and find it quickly.
